How is Meet the Mentors funded?
This “hot ticket” professional development opportunity is wholly funded through the enthusiastic support of Foundation donors who are committed to helping young professionals – the future of funeral service – grow and succeed.
Am I eligible?
Women and men under the age of 40 and/or newly licensed (under five years) who are NFDA-Members and licensed funeral directors/embalmers, are eligible to submit their names.
How do I submit my name?
Visit NFDA’s website for information on how to submit your name for this yearly event. SUBMISSION DEADLINE: January 6
How are participants selected?
Names are chosen by random drawing; every person who submits his or her name has an equal chance of being selected. In general, 50 young professionals are invited to participate in each Meet the Mentors conference.
If my name is selected, and I am invited to attend a Meet the Mentors conference, what does my award cover?
Participants receive complimentary registration; access to three visionary mentors; one night of lodging; and select meals. (Please note you will be responsible for all costs associated with transportation, meals not provided in conjunction with the program and any additional room nights.)
Do you fund any other scholarship or professional development opportunities?
