One of the central tenets of the Funeral Service Foundation's mission is to identify ways to improve the lives of children, especially with regard to grief and bereavement issues. FSF takes that commitment very seriously, and in 2001 established the Children's Fund with a goal of raising $100,000 for the creation of a permanent endowment that would be dedicated to the improvement of children's lives.
A portion of the fund's proceeds is granted each year, and the remainder is placed in the Children's Fund Endowment in order to establish a permanent funding source.
In 2007, FSF began partnering with the National Alliance for Grieving Children through grants from the Children's Fund, in order to support children's bereavement programs across the United States. You can donate to the Children's Fund online by visiting the FSF Children's Fund website or by contacting the Foundation at 877-402-5900.
