Your Foundation is Ready to Give Back!

Following five years of organizational and fundraising activities, your Funeral Service Foundation (FSF) is now poised to become the leading independent charitable organization representing all sectors of the death care profession.

With oversight provided by talented, dedicated leaders from funeral service, cemetery and allied professions, the Board of Trustees is committed to fulfillment of FSF's mission to provide financial resources for career and professional development; support of the funeral, cemetery and allied professions; public awareness and education; and the improvement of children's lives.

Our "Hand In Hand" endowment campaign has surpassed its original fund raising goal.  With $4.3 million committed, our funding target is now $5 million for our permanently endowed charitable trust.  We are energized and inspired by the generosity of our donors!

What will FSF do with the endowment earnings?  Goal number one is for FSF to have a powerful, long term impact on the death care profession through our funding initiatives.  Programs that will have a positive, measurable impact on the death care profession will be sponsored in addition to charitable programs benefiting children.

Under "Financial Highlights" you will see that FSF is in excellent financial shape.  Our investments are closely monitored by certain Trustees blessed with financial expertise who when combined with the financial savvy of our money manager, Fidelity Investments, are producing attractive investment income results while maintaining a safe, conservative portfolio of investments.

We now have a gifted Executive Director who shares our passion.  Her leadership has resulted in reduced expenses, a balanced budget, and a proper balance between fundraising, administrative, and granting efforts.

We are deeply appreciative of our generous financial donors, those who have supported FSF with in-kind gifts, and to the Trustees and volunteers who have proceeded us.  Because of your commitment, we look forward to reporting future accomplishments of your Foundation.
